The Wigton School Annual Report to the Cumberland Quarterly Meeting records that:‘In connection with the Peace Exhibition held in the Parish Rooms, Wigton, arranged for by the Wigton Meeting, valuable assistance was given by Senior Scholars of Brookfield (part of the Friends’ School, Wigton) in arranging the exhibits and in describing and explaining them to visitors.’ No precise date was given for this event, which would have occurred between March 1929 and March 1930.
