The Morecambe Visitor and Heysham Chronicle, 24 Sep 1919
Under the presidency of the Mayor and Mayoress and the Peace Celebrations Committee, Morecambe held four days of peace celebrations from 14-17 September 1919. The events included a civic procession, a regatta and swimming carnival, along with an ox roasting, trade procession and a cycle parade.
