It was reported in the League of Nations Union (LNU) Education Committee Minutes that Macclesfield Local Education Authority (LEA) had passed a resolution to organise a lecture on the League of Nations. Moreover, the speaker from the League of Nations Union would address all senior pupils of Macclesfield Town who were 12 years of age and above. Any expenses incurred would be met by the LEA. It is not known whether the event took place.
