Lancaster Pride 2005 was organised mainly from what was then S. Martin’s College (now University of Cumbria). The programme included a lantern-lit session around the town centre, a performance of Faure’s Requiem in the Priory Church, a reception in Ashton Hall with cabaret performers, an address by Stonewall campaigner Peter Tatchell and an exhibition of words and images created by members of the local LGBTQ youth group, PYRO.
