In 1922 the Education Committee of the League of Nations Union was involved in finding speakers to address meetings and visit schools to promote the League of Nations and its ideals. Item 197 of the Minutes of the March meeting concerned an application from Miss Vera Brittain to help the educational activities of the Union. It was noted that she had already been engaged to talk to meetings in Fulham and Watford. The Committee decided to await reports from those meetings before deciding to engage her to talk to technical colleges.
